Italy Day 1 - 21 Nov 08

The saved soul with the blessing of the holy spirit ;P
Milan
This is at Rome Airport. Hah, trolleys do not come for free!

Validating our train tickets from Rome airport to Rome train terminal. Actually, we did not see any conductors on this train. What if I just hop onto the train? It means a saving of 11 euros. But as you know, I am a law-abiding SINGAPOREAN!

Check out the vandalism on the Leonardo Express train. Tsk tsk ...

It's really a hectic day. We had to travel from Rome to Milan on the 1st day so that we can start from the north. Another 4-hour ride...grrr.

I miss the Eurostar when I was in London the last time. That was because I had stewards to serve us food and wine.

I will never forget Xiaowen's comment: "Gosh, terminal so old. China is so much more advanced!"
True, the dragon country's state of development is astonishing but Europe's metro/tube runs a long history.

Milan station from afar.

So exciting! our 1st Duomo! I really like white structures. The grandeur is spectacular.

And the above is where I got the Vabene watch for a friend.

The lost sheep looking for her LV shop!

The saved soul with the blessing of the holy spirit ;PNote: I am fortunate to go with a good photographer. It's her misfortune when I had to take pictures of her due to my amateurish skill.
