DAY 6 Lhasa/Yangpachen Geothermal Area/View Nianqing Tangula Mountain/Dangxiong County/Gnam Mtsho (Tian Lake)

Today we travel up! This is 5190m above sea level. We are already experiencing altitude sickness especially lao gong.


Below is the famous 天湖. That is because it is located at such a high level!

Yep! I need a pony to help me walk to the lake! Quite a great idea cos it is really hectic to walk at such high altitude and our lungs are fighting to take in the ultra thin oxygen...breathe!

There is a speed limit on this road to the heavenly lake. To track the speed, the traffic controller times the driver. Since we are moving too fast, we take a break for the camera again!
