Day 4 - Louvre Museum and London Dinner Cruise

This is Gare De Lyon - the train station next to our hotel in Paris. We decided to take this again to give you a better idea. It is an old station as depicted by the architecture again. As mentioned previously, this was where Robert and Sophie tried to con the police.

Ta Da...the Lourve. Okie, this is a crazy tour of the Lourve. Due to the limited time we had. We actually ran with the tour guide to the area where Da Vinci's most famous painting was kept. Yep, it's Mona Lisa. So imagine a big group of about 120 people splitting into about 4 smaller groups and zooming within the massive ground of the Louvre in 1 hour. We are talking about the size of more than 4 soccer courts!
This is the famous pair of pyramids mentioned by Dan Brown. Apparently, in the book, it was mentioned that the pair symbolises the union between man and woman. The inverted pyramid represents the chalice and also the woman. But the tour guide dismisses that side of the story haha.
By the way, the very famous museum is really crowded. Even Takashimaya during the Xmas season can't beat it.

The view from the bottom.

Joyce and many more trying to get a good pic with the pyramids.

And this is the gold medal that lies along the Greenwich line and it was also mentioned in the book. There are 2 in this museum.
It is Eurostar again. But this time round, it was the codebreaker train that we were taking with the rest of the other members in the group.
And this is the close-up! The train would now take us back to London from Paris.
A nice welcome by the royal guards when we arrived!
We checked into our hotel, freshened up and then headed for another dinner cruise!
It became the highlight of the tour. We boarded a ferry sealed in glass. Champagne was served to us immediately.
You can see the London Eye in the background.
Dinner took place on long tables with unlimited servings of wine and fine food! This is the rich Filipino that we sat with.
A live jazz performance was put up during the cruise that made our dinner all the more enjoyable.

And the Tower Bridge in the night. The ambience, the company and the food left us with an unforgettable night!
